One-Click Fiber Cleaner Pen K-LC (1.25 mm, LC/MU)
One push cleans an LC or MU end face — through the adapter or in your hand — with a fresh strand of cleaning thread every time, 800+ cleans a pen.
Typical work: Cleaning LC and MU end faces in FTTH distribution panels, ODFs and splice closures before splicing or patching; Data centre and central office patch panels, where LC is the working connector; Field installs: clean every connector before it is mated, through the adapter, without unpatching the panel; A pocket consumable for every installer kit — pairs with the 2.5 mm K-SC pen for SC, FC and ST work.

K-LC key features
- One push, one clean: press the pen in until it clicks — the tip rotates a half turn while a fresh length of densely woven microfiber thread sweeps the end face, lifting dust, oil and debris without scratching it
- 800+ cleans per pen: the thread advances automatically with every push, so clean number 800 is wiped with unused thread, exactly like clean number one
- Dry cleaning — no alcohol to carry, spill or wait on, and no solvent residue left on the end face
- Cleans connectors where they live: through the adapter on the panel, and unmated connectors in the hand; LC and MU, UPC and APC polish
- A window on the body shows the thread remaining, so the pen never runs out mid-job without warning

How It Works — one push, fresh thread, a half-turn sweep
The guide tip centres the pen on the ferrule. Push the body in until it clicks: the cleaning tip presses a fresh strand of densely woven microfiber thread against the end face and rotates a half turn (180°) as it wipes, so the thread sweeps the whole contact zone instead of dragging the same dirt across it. The thread then advances automatically, ready for the next connector.
A dirty end face is the cheapest fault in fiber work and the easiest to prevent: dust, oil and debris on the ferrule cause loss, reflectance and scratched mating faces. Dry thread lifts the contamination off without solvents — nothing to carry, nothing to spill, and no residue left behind to attract the next layer of dust. The antistatic resin body helps the cleaned face stay clean.
Work through the panel: the pen cleans connectors where they sit, through the adapter, and loose connectors held in the hand. A window on the body shows how much thread is left; when it runs out, replace the pen — it is a consumable, not a tool to refill. Keep the guide cap on between jobs (it is tethered to the pen, so it does not get lost), and never reuse a section of thread or take the pen apart.
