Fiber Cleaning Box K-CB550 (Cassette Type)
A bench cassette that wipes SC, FC, ST and LC end faces on fresh microfiber tape — 550+ cleans on one core, and when the core is done you swap the core, not the box.
Typical work: Jumper and pigtail production lines — clean every end face before test and packing; Repair and refurb benches: bulk cleaning of returned jumpers and adapters; Panel dressing and commissioning: work through a full ODF or distribution panel in one session; Field kits that see volume: pair with one-click pens — the box for the bench and panel work, the pens for the pole and the premises.

K-CB550 key features
- 550+ cleans per core: every wipe runs on fresh, unused microfiber tape, so clean number 550 is wiped exactly like clean number one
- The core swaps, not the box: when the tape is spent, open the case, fit a replacement core and keep working — the cheapest cost per clean in the cleaning drawer
- One slot takes the whole bench: SC, FC, ST and LC, 2.5 mm and 1.25 mm ferrules, UPC and APC — the body label also lists D4, MU, MT and DIN
- Dry cleaning — no alcohol to carry, spill or wait on, and no solvent residue left on the end face
- Made for volume work: production lines, repair benches and panel dressing, where connectors are cleaned by the hundred, not one at a time

How It Works — fresh tape for every wipe
Open the shutter, seat the connector in the slot at 90 degrees and draw it across the exposed window of cleaning tape: the densely woven dry microfiber lifts dust, oil and debris off the end face without scratching it. A lever advance then moves the tape on, so the next connector meets a fresh, unused section — a used, dirty patch of tape never touches a second end face.
The cassette earns its place where cleaning is repetitive: jumper production, repair benches, and dressing out panels before test. A one-click pen is the pocket tool for one-off cleans in the field; the box is the workstation tool, and because only the core is a consumable — 550+ cleans per core, swapped in seconds — its cost per clean stays the lowest of the three cleaning formats on this site.
