Fiber Comprehensive Tester K-310

The FTTH door-step box: OTDR, power meter, light source, VFL, event map, network cable test and a work lamp in one 5-inch tester.

Functions: OTDR, optical power meter, light…OTDR wavelengths: By build: 1310 or 1550 nm…22/20 dB; 20 dB on the 1625 nm build0.5 to 160 km

Typical work: FTTH activation and repair visits — drop testing, power checks and in-home cable runs in one call; Last-mile and access-network maintenance for ISP and contractor crews; Event-map fault finding by installers who do not read OTDR traces every day; Live-fiber checks on short spans with the filtered builds.

Features

K-310 key features

  • Seven functions in one box: OTDR, optical power meter, light source, visual fault locator, event map, network cable test and LED lighting — the whole FTTH checklist without swapping instruments
  • An event map (optical eye) that draws the drop line's faults in plain view — the answer a new installer can read, with the full OTDR trace behind it when you want the detail
  • Four OTDR builds at an honest 22/20 dB: single or dual wavelength, and filtered builds — including 1625 nm — that can test live fiber
  • The cable test covers the other half of the install: wire sequence and length on the Ethernet run, with open circuits, short circuits and crossed pairs called out
  • Built for the doorstep and the dark cabinet: 5-inch touch screen with gesture operation, a work lamp, live-signal protection on the OTDR, and a lithium battery past 10 hours

How It Works

How It Works — the whole doorstep visit in one box

Most FTTH faults live in the last hundred meters, and the K-310 is built for exactly that stretch. Start with the event map: it tests the drop and draws what it finds — connectors, splices, bends, breaks — as a plain diagram with distances, readable at a glance. When a fault needs proving, the same fiber gets a full OTDR trace at 1310/1550 nm; the power meter reads what actually arrives at the ONT, and the VFL puts a red glow on a visible break.

Then the job moves indoors, where the second half of 'no service' calls live: the network cable test checks the Ethernet run for sequence, length, open circuits, shorts and crossed pairs, and locates the fault distance. One instrument, charged once, covers the visit from the distribution point to the router — which is why this box, not a 45 dB trunk OTDR, is the right tool for activation and repair crews.

FAQ

Questions about the K-310

Can the K-310 carry our own brand?

Private labeling is made to your requirements and confirmed per order — labels with your logo, part numbers and barcodes on the tools, the inner boxes and the outer cartons, ready for your warehouse. The products most often labeled are the K-35 cleaver, the KS-1 Kevlar shears and the K-870 stripper.

Can we order a small lot, unbranded?

Yes. Neutral stock is held for the core range: small lots are welcome, you can mix models in one shipment, and restock as you sell. Prices are on request — EXW factory pricing.
