OTDR K-610
A 7-inch tablet OTDR platform for trunk and metro work — dual-wavelength builds climbing to 45/43 dB and 240 km, plus 1625 nm builds that watch live fiber.
Typical work: Trunk and metro acceptance testing — the high builds reach 240 km spans; Fault location and maintenance on long-haul and regional single-mode plant; Live-fiber monitoring and in-service fault finding with the 1625 nm builds; Network opening (fast mode) and routine maintenance (accurate mode) by carrier and contractor crews.

K-610 key features
- Ten builds, one platform: seven dual-wavelength 1310/1550 nm builds from 24/22 dB to 45/43 dB, and three triple-wavelength builds with a 1625 nm channel for live-fiber monitoring
- Tablet working: a 7-inch capacitive touch screen with gesture zoom on the trace, one-key testing, and fast and accurate modes for opening and maintaining networks
- Short dead zones on the high builds — event dead zone down to 0.8 m and attenuation dead zone down to 4.5 m, so close-spaced events on dense plant still separate
- Dual-wavelength traces show macrobends directly; live-signal alarm protects the optics, and the module self-test reports the OTDR's own health
- Options fitted to order: an optical power meter (two detector grades) and a 1310/1550 nm light source on the dual-wavelength builds — say so with your inquiry and we build it in

How It Works — one platform, specified by span
An OTDR launches pulses down the fiber and reads the returning reflections and backscatter as a trace: distance along the bottom, loss down the side, every splice, connector and break placed on the line. What decides whether a given OTDR can do your job is dynamic range — how much loss budget it can see through — and that is what the K-610's build table is for: 24/22 dB opens access networks all day, the 40 dB class and above accepts and fault-finds trunk spans out to 240 km.
The 1625 nm builds exist for fiber that is already carrying traffic. Testing a live line at the working wavelengths would disturb it and be swamped by it; the filtered 1625 nm channel sits clear of the 1310/1550 traffic, so the line can be watched and fault-found in service. Whichever build you choose, the working is the same tablet routine: pick the mode, run the trace, pinch to zoom into an event, and save it against the line's records.

Questions about the K-610
Can the K-610 carry our own brand?
Private labeling is made to your requirements and confirmed per order — labels with your logo, part numbers and barcodes on the tools, the inner boxes and the outer cartons, ready for your warehouse. The products most often labeled are the K-35 cleaver, the KS-1 Kevlar shears and the K-870 stripper.
Can we order a small lot, unbranded?
Yes. Neutral stock is held for the core range: small lots are welcome, you can mix models in one shipment, and restock as you sell. Prices are on request — EXW factory pricing.
